COVID-19 – WE ARE OPEN – Terms of operation update

The Australian Health Minister, Mr Greg Hunt considers Physiotherapy and Allied Health to be essential services. We will continue to remain open unless the government’s position changes.

Physiotherapy and Allied Health services play an integral role in the health and wellbeing of Australian’s. Our role is to assist in keeping our community fit and healthy.

Like all hospitals, our clinic is endorsing all medically recommended hygiene protocols to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

This includes: –

** Screening for COVID -19 via text in conjunction with the appointment reminder
** Screening for COVID -19 via signage prior to entrance to the clinic
** Hand sanitisation for all visitors to the clinic at the time of entrance
** Sanitisation of equipment / furnishings post client consultation
** Fresh supply of linen / paper towel for each client consultation
** Hand sanitisation for therapists after each client consultation

In the past 48 hours we have made the following changes: –

** Our Group Pilates classes will be minimised to 2 people per session
** We have activated Telehealth services for Physiotherapy and Dietetics
** Online Pilates and Exercise services will be rolled out in the coming weeks as required
** Home Visit services extended to clients self-isolating who pass the screening protocol

** Assess your condition
** Request scans/tests
** Diagnose the problem
** Provide treatment strategies
** Educate re: self-management
** Prescribe exercises/meal plans
