Good news for those with nut allergies.

Researchers are developing a method to process cashews, and potentially other nuts, that could make them safer to eat for people who are allergic to them. This is exciting news, as food allergy occurs in around 1 in 10 infants and in about 1 in 100 adults in Australia, with one of the most common food allergies being tree nut allergy.
